The Land of the Rising Sun....

I have been MIA for too long. With not so much of a word.

My apologies.

I've been in the Land of the Rising Sun. aka, Japan.

I am really happy this trip happened. Of course, I pulled a few strings and changed my plans. But it is a decision I do not and never ever will regret.

Some things I did in Japan:

Paid 11,000 YEN for a cab ride (which is USD$143 or RM429),

Met up with the SUA people and met new friends.

Went to many places and learnt a lot about Japanese culture. (so many more pictures I've not uploaded so can't be here)

Went to something Disney for the first time in my life.

and most importantly...

I created bonds and learnt so much about myself and others and have appreciated life, my family, my friends and my religion so much more. During the whole stay, I was greeted and welcomed with utmost warmth, love and smiles. The families of all my friends were absolutely caring and loving. They showered me with so much love and tender loving care as if I were their own. They gave me hugs, gifts and everything else I needed for a most wonderful stay in their country. The situation I had put myself in had also made me so much closer to my religion. I had been chanting almost everyday and it has made an impact on my life. :)

Also, having being able to stay with my friends, I've learned to talk (though I still have lots to work on, I'm better than before) and open up. I've learned so much new things about my friends, Japanese life and culture through talking to them. I've quenched my thirst for understanding Japanese people and the way they think. Though I still wanna know more :)

And and and I've bought myself 2 books in Japanese and I can't wait to start reading them. I wanna be able to speak Japanese to natives by graduation :) My goal :) HEEEE :)

Japan has definitely inspired me to do a lot of things. I can't wait for my dad to come home so I can talk to him about my future plans in Japan :)

With that, I'd like to say...

Thank you Japan.
See you soon.
