I think that its pretty darn awesome. I get to talk to my dad who's half the friggin world away and do research and all that poo. But it is poo as well cause of Facebook and all that cool stuff. Haha tum what?

Today is the last day of February.

"Write about how you feel today"

Answer:
"Estoy muy feliz". For those of you who don't know what it means, it means "I'm very happy"

First, language classes were rather fun! :) Japanese was kinda cool and Spanish was nice :) loved it loads. :)

Then at lunch,

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! Are you serious? OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG (then you see me jumping up and down, no seriously, I was literally JUMPING like a kid in a candy store cause mommy says she can buy ANYTHING she wants)

Then it was Architecture time, boy was I tired. Or maybe it was her voice but I was sleepyyy haha we watched a video and I was asleep. BAHAHAH kinda funny if you ask me. Then it was Track time, and I felt like throwing up after the 500s. Gosh. HORRID.
Thank goodness I didn't. So after, I did weights and voila! Here I am. :)

So I am happy :)

Now, time to write that paper! My first paper on music! :) Classical too ;)

Scents

What is my favorite smell?

I love the smell of roses.

Those essential oils, the real ones. That smell like roses or the rose itself that has a yummy rose scent.

Those are the bomb. Absolutely. LOVE them.

One of my attempts at rhyming haha. I wear trainers a lot. Like, sport shoes. Specially in the cold weather. A LOT.

Kay, so for now since I'm here in SUA, I will talk about the campus.

It is a really pretty place with cracks all over the ground and walls.

It is filled with travertine and grey bricks.

It's a home and a school in one

A cafeteria, a clinic, a gym, a pool and a stage altogether.

It has lots of greenery, a road that goes all the way around it and it sits on the side of some canyons. 

It's my own personal library, workplace and comfort zone.

It has basketball, soccer and tennis courts.

It has a cafe, mailroom and ATM.

Sometimes at night, at a distance, it looks like a palace in the middle of the middle east.

Sometimes it looks like Hogwarts

The lights make it one of the prettiest place ever.

In the day, I see birds of all sorts which lifts my spirits a little.

It's a pretty place.

I have a room of my own little bubble that hugs me.

Sigh. Today has been tough. Tougher than yesterday but it seems that everyday, I walk away not remembering the pain. The amnesia knows what to take away. I still smile and be me. I'm known to do and be certain things. Which gives me assurance that I'm finding myself again. This makes me happier, I know I'm myself again. Not someone you once suppressed, someone you silenced. Neither am I someone whose heart you tore into a million bijillion pieces. 

I am me.

Today was horrid but I'm picking myself back up on the ice. I'm gonna go on skating. 

Coffee and Tea, Best Dressed?

When I drink coffee, I need it to be SWEET! Don't ask. I can't take (EVER) BLACK coffee. EW.
But my tea, it depends, I love Malaysian Milk Tea,

What are my plans for tomorrow? (18th) well, it was Friday and I had to go to Long Beach to swim. So, to swim I guess? I PR-ed in both my events which is super awesome! :D
I PR-ed in my 100 Backstroke and my 100 Freestyle! :) YES. :)
Jolly happy.

Everyone has fears but one of my biggest fears is failing. I feel horrible if I fail. Seriously. That's why I'm working hard to do what I can to be the best I can be.

On the 19th I had Subway for dinner. HAHA fail. I was feeling super sick. I had this pounding headache which made me super cranky and on top of that, I had to walk from the beginning of the block ALL the way to the END of the block in the utter cold with FLIP FLOPS for the Subway sandwich. Not fun.

I love drinks. Anything that pleases the taste buds, I like. But one drink that I ABSOLUTELY enjoy is Green Tea Latte/ Frap from Starbucks with whipped cream and caramel sauce. OMG absolute LOVE!

The Best Gift

We've all gotten gifts. But there would be that ONE thing you love most. More than anything you've ever gotten.

I think, the BEST gift I've gotten is

my violin. Be it the old one I had or the new one. No question about it. I love it to death. 

Even though I had to pay for it, it technically doesn't count cause my parents were the one who sent me the money and said that I could go ahead and buy it. 

The 2 other things I think are the best include 

My education here (along with all the books and stuff) and

My brother :) 

Journal Entry

This feels like a journal entry. Cause, honestly, apart from

• Being shocked by a BIG BIG BIG commitment my brother just made to his girlfriend.
• Falling asleep unknowingly in class and getting embarrassed for it.
• Messing up my words in language class, worst in Spanish class.
• Getting elbowed in my left shin that HURTS very much.
• Feeling like CRAP while running cause I'm pretty much dying as I run.
• Getting told that my ankles are swollen.

I think, I'm okay and well, that sounds like a normal day to me. :) 

OH! and minus the fact that it is couples-all-up-in-your-face-about-it Day or I like to celebrate and call it SINGLES AWARENESS DAY. I think everything is PERFECTLY normal.

Least I'm not crying myself buckets like I was last year? HEHE. Aww man. Time flies... TIME. FLIESSSSS....

What DO I Believe In?

I've been asking myself this a lot and I've been trying to figure a lot of things out.

"Write about what you believe in, be it God, yourself, etc"

I think I'm going to keep this one super short.

I believe in myself. I don't think that theres a god. But, I really like to know how the many religions incorporate God in their teachings and stuff. It's something I'm kinda interested in.

Tristan Ng King Shiung

My beloved brother who in my eyes will ALWAYS  be my baby brother, no matter how giant like he gets.

Born on the 6th day of July, my brother came into this world a happy baby. He was the gem of the family. Everyone LOVED him. They adorn him and were constantly showering him with nothing but the best. Me being ignorant and jealous, I never liked it. I was super horrible to him. I would get him to do a lot of things for me, like run around and get me stuff, do this, do that and on top of that I'd be SUPER impatient with him. Well, it was kind of my way to make up for all the catching up with him I had to do. Like in malls, supermarkets and wherever. Despite it all, he would still smile and be that carefree, happy boy. I remember the best moments I've had with him. One of them included us dousing our front yard with water when we got home from school, (we had kinda tiled floors outside kinda) so it'd be slippery. Then, in our full uniforms and shoes off (best part of the day!) then we'd start from the front door and run toward the front gate then surf on the wet tiles. The other was when we'd take bubble baths together. Boy, were we messy as hell! We would splash water all over the place and we would have the time of our lives. 

Once, when we were REALLY little, I still remember this so clearly, plays vividly in my mind, he said to me, "Jie (older sister in Chinese), I will marry you" and boy oh boy, was I shocked. Till today, that sentence (even though a bit weird, came from his sincerity and his love) made me wish that I hadn't treated him so badly like I did. 

As years went by, I only got colder and colder toward him. I always hated his presence and his noise. I was still insanely jealous of all he's given and all I never got. My patience toward him got worse as years went by. He was becoming more and more of a hassle that I had to look after but our only form of unity is when mom punishes us and we would talk about her behind her back in Chinese. But most of the time, we would be in each others faces, trying to get one another into trouble and getting the next person blamed.

Then, he started growing up. 

He became this intelligent individual, scoring well in school, staying awake during tuition and getting awards for excellence. Something I was not when I was his age. At 15, he's had dealt with relationships in maturity and has made more friends faster than you can say "Friend". He's scored well in his major exams, much better than I have and is much better character wise than I am. He's got the heart of gold and offers help to many regardless of his problems and their background. 

While he can be a dick sometimes, (we're bound to be poop faces once in a while, nobody's perfect) but he is my brother, my hero and an inspiration. 

I LOVE YOU! :)

Sleeping is the BEST part of my day.
I would do it ANYTIME. I'd trade my workouts for them. Seriously. Not cool I tells you.

Anyway, today is about "how you wake up in the morning"

Well!

It usually ends with me dreaming about something and then I just OPEN my eyes. And stare at Mark's calligraphy that is on my wall. I don't know why I just do and "try to figure it out" even though I kinda already know the meaning behind it. Then if I'm still tired I'd either go back to sleep if I have time to spare OR I'd force myself to get up. This happens if I've no alarm.

If the alarm rings, I actually talk to it and would say something like "OKAY OKAY SHUT UP". Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I talk to my ALARM. Genius.

Bleh.

Aku dah 8 bulan mengenalimu.

That is my pillow! :) It is super soft and rather flat. 

But it is the SOFTEST pillow EVER!

Today's question is :
"Write about the arts"

I think art is WONDERFUL. People say its a way of expressing yourself. I think for me, that statement is only true if you have the talent/ acquired skills. Seriously. Choreographers, professionals, whatevers. I would love to be one of those but I always NEVER had the money (and the support then) to do so. Now, I have the resources but I'm too busy. 

Speaking of which, the first half, well, when I was 16, I seriously considered quitting high school and enrolling in Auckland University for Performing Arts. But mom and dad said NO. At 17, I had an argument with dad about my love, figure skating (I wanted to compete so bad but he didn't want me to, neither did mom so we had an argument about it, he got so mad he said "why don't you just quit school now and go" I was SOOO tempted to say yes but I think he only said that to spite me (and that is usually the cue for me to S.T.F.U). 

The 2nd half, well, I'm here now right..? Kay, so, today I went for Rhythm Mission (the hip hop dance club at SUA)'s first practice of the semester. OMG IT WAS SO FUN! I really wanna join it (and since my work has not yet started, I decided to go) but I know I will soon start work (I will be working everyday mind you) and that means I won't be able to join! :(

Also, dyou know more than 1 language? If so, I thoroughly recommend reading the books in the foreign language. It is a very wonderful experience! :)

My Father and Books

I know I'm super late but here is
Day Four:
"Write about someone you love"
If it is someone I love, it would have to be my dad. He is the most awesome person in the entire world. He is the biggest inspiration to me. He works really really hard behind the scenes. Always stressing over little things especially when it comes to my safety and my well being. He does not ask for much, only for the best for us (me and my brother). He does not spend his money on material things. No watches, clothes or even a brand new golf club that he wants. He helps me with my math homework and listens well to my problems, giving me solutions he would take and suggestions in my best interest while leaving the rest up to me. He is the first to leave the house for work and slaves in the kitchen to make sure that the food does not get burnt and that the family gets a belly full of food. He seldom looses his temper and is very forgiving with a lot of things. He cares for people around him and is funniest in the most serious manners. He eases tension and hides all his bitter disappointments. His appreciation for a lot of things have shone through and never fails to inspire.
If it is one person I love, it is my dad. My rock, my name, my blood and the veins that run within me.

Four Books:

This is one of the greatest books I've read (I decided to pick something not a lot of people have read but I guess I kinda failed at that) But either way, this is a pretty awesome book. The story line was AWESOME I really enjoyed reading this book. The twist and turns in it were really cool. The ending was really good too. 

This book was actually one of my required books for class. It actually helped me get to know more about geography and history of the pacific basin. It was cause it was part of the assignments but reading the book (we HAD to read it) really gave me lots of insight on a lot of things that were really amazing. Definitely a good book specially for people like myself (who had NO clue on pacific basin history)

I read this book a LONG time ago (to be honest, ALL her books are BOMB) and I recommend it to any girl who likes chic flics/ girly stuff

Note how this book is in CHINESE. 

This is my very FIRST CHINESE novel. SUPER LOVE. 

I'm still on it but I'm really really enjoying every bit of it. :) I've gotten over the tough part and so it's not so bad. :) 

The day has come to an end and today was real fun. I really enjoyed it :)

This is kinda interesting cause I did my psych project on this.

Well, I used to have so many ideas and theories on what it can be/is but now I'm just confused. I really don't understand it. I think it is something you can't explain. I used to think I knew because of how I felt about certain people/things but then those fail and then I find myself not knowing how to feel or simply feeling NOTHING. Literally ZERO. So, I don't think anything of it? For now at least. When I find out, I'll letchu know. :)

As for 5 foods...

I FREAKING LOVE THESE!!!!! I will eat them for all 3 meals and NEVER get bored of them! Seriously.
They are Konnyaku Jelly. OMG. I will NEVER EVER get sick of em. This is my love. Seriously.

Tau Fu Fah

It is SUPER soft beancurd that you eat with sugar in liquid form. There are 3 kinds of sugars. Brown, "white" and ginger. My favorite is with Ginger sugar and Grass Jelly OMG Heavennnnn

Fish Head Noodles. NOM NOM NOM
One of the BEST dishes there is!
You can eat it with fried or non fried fish.
I prefer the fried ones personally ;)

Sad but true, I am VERY boring and the most serious person ever. (I still don't get how people think I'm funny, I really am not)

Usually I would be so nervous I wouldn't even talk to them. BAHAHA lazy me. 

But when I do, I'd be the boring one, usually we'd be talking about something in common and then it turns into "I didn't catch your name, what is it again?" -person says name- "Hi (so and so)" actually I don't even say hi, I just "Kimberley". Damn, I AM LAZY! Many times, it usually ends in me helping them get my name right or me abbreviating it to Kim cause they can't say it right -.-
