When We Think About It

YAY FOR 2013!!
well, from this side of the world, that is

I had wanted to save the occasion for last year but since one, I missed it (DUH), second, it didn't quite add up right in my head, I thought I'd round up 2011 & 2012 for this. AAAND this is the part we're all scratching our heads wondering "WHAT ON GODLY EARTH IS THIS WOMAN GOIN ON ABOUT". Why yes, I know, I'm crazy. That's beside the point. But I... Never mind, here goes!!

Fourteen countries, twenty cities, two Christmases and two Happy New Year exclaims later.... (OMG I have waited SOOOOOOO LONG to do this!!)
Jokes aside... Here we are! The end of my Senior year at SUA. Just 5 months away from walking down one of the most significant aisles of my life: Graduation Aisle. Looking back on the past 4 years at SUA (well, not just 2012 cause it all just adds up to today), I personally don't feel the change but I mean, surely, change must've happened! I don't wear that short blazer that I bought from Forever 21 anymore, not like I used to in the year that I got it, when all I would wear is that. I like new music, actually enjoy cheese, am slowly rewarming myself to alcohol (I mean, I'm not gonna go pissed-drunk-can't-fcuking-remember-shit) but I mean, I'll have some Kiwi Soju (MM YUM!) and kinda hate myself later when the after taste fumes that seems to make its way back to my taste buds, bringing with them tormenting throw up feelings I would rather stay away from. But you know, I guess I've changed, and as much as I don't quite feel it, thinking about it, it kinda makes sense? Well, anyway, here are some reasons why I'm kinda excited: I think I'm getting closer to the school + course I wanna take after Soka which is kind helping at the moment (just got off the phone with one of the representatives from one of the schools I was checking out and that calmed my nerves a teeny tiny bit).

OMG ALL THAT JIBBERISH. I don't blame you if you didn't read all of it. Seriously, you really don't have to. Free...whatever thing-not-pointing-a-gun-at-your-head YOUDON'THAVETOREADITIFYOUDON'TWANTTO.

seriously.
as if my obnoxious self isn't enough

ANYWAY 2013 be looking good! Boy am I STOKED out of my socks.

Looking back on last year's post well, click here if you wanna see how RIRITARDED (Riri, this is for you) I was. I mean, I was talking more like bragging *rolls eyes at self* about my trip & blog screaming about a watch
OOH OOH THIS ONE!

I wanted, could not afford but ended up returning after buying it (HIGHLY DISCOUNTED BEE TEE DUBS!). I still want that watch by the way! Alright, shall stop rambling here;

MANY JOLLY WONDERFUL NEW YEAR WISHES TO ALL OF YOU & YOUR FAMBAMS!

xoxo
Kim.

PS, as you can tell, I've recovered a fair bit. 2 days ago, I could've sworn I was going to die... HEHE. Momma and her magic momma skills I'm pretty sure all mommas have (;

Major Decadence

The mother returned from her travel yesterday. Was really nice to see her face again. Not on a screen either.

*           *          *           *          *

I practically spent the whole day eating (with a very special person) yesterday. It was wayy too much fun, you could say it was sinful.

Such gluttony. Soon, my name shall be renewed as "Rolly Polly". I must say though, nothing beats home cooked food.

Boootiful swatches.
By the way, TOPSHOP lipticks smell nice.
Not sure if that should cause worry or not....

Ramble Fable

Extended day, multiple dates, late nights.
Food fest, window shopping, anger bitching.
Echoing laughter, tobacco intoxication, voicebox murders.
Old friends, Soka alumni, track&field reunion.
One Empty Gas Tank.

I practically spent the day in bed today. Possibly one of the best things ever to happen to me in a while. Simplicity at its best. Nothing beats being home :)

Side note: A la naturaleza es lo mejor.

Of double takes & incessant staring.

PS- My US phone is literally dead. Immensely displeasing.

My train of thought must be insanely confusing huh?

xoxo,
Kim.

Finally Finals

"Why do you do this to yourself?"
Is always a question I get asked...

Why Kim, WHY?

Some of you are probably wondering what (the heck) is she talking about..

Well guys, tis the season for finals, I decided to write about the amount of classes I've taken this semester... In total, I have... *drum roll*

Eight classes.

That's right.
8
Eight.

They include:
Do I really have to list them?
NAH. Boring trivial shit no one really cares about anyway.

To be honest, there were days when I wanted to shut myself up in my cove and just sleep. And yes, I have had my moments/ days when I would either walk around looking like Einstein's Chinese cousin (with my hair sticking up and everything) or cry my eyes out from the weight of it all. But interestingly enough, you know when you had anticipated stuff to be horrible but by the end of it, you look back and mutter "that was not as bad as I thought!". That, my dear friends is my problem... I always come out of all of it thinking it was not shitty at all.

So there. Haha.

Next time you're watching me torture myself with the work load, just remember I said this:
Initially, you think you're losing your marbles.
1/4 way through, you think, yeah.. I'll be okay.. I'll make it alright..
3/4 through, you're beginning to get the hang of it
By the end of it, you're just surprised it all ended and you wish you could keep going cause you had begun getting the hang of it...

The Never Ending Process

Thought for today:
The Power of Authority.
I now fully comprehend one's desire to remain in power despite constantly being dissed.
Only the ones who work for the benefit of others are willing to forgo authority.
The Power of Words.
Vocab. Grammar.
Bored boring.
Iambored&Iamboringtheymakethismistakeallthetime.
Minute yet significant.

Now:
Nobody really ever stops to listen to the quiet one. The assumption has already been made. No matter what you say, they'll never believe it...

...Until someone with authority says the exact. same. thing.

Think about it.

Kim

I'm Singing My Blues...?

Blue Party was pretty fun last night...

I shall only say this much. Judge me if you want... I'm equally surprised... But I'll say this:

I CRIED BECAUSE HE REFUSED TO PLAY BIG BANG
I CRIED WHEN HE ACTUALLY PLAYED FANTASTIC BABY,
I CRIED AGAIN WHEN CHARLIE TORMENTED ME WITH PHOTOS OF TOP.
I CRIED.
(not even a silent cry, two drops of tears and done. This was a true omg boohoo sob)

Shocked? Yeah. I was too. I don't know why I'm crying over Big Bang, a song, TOP. Even the fact that I was crying was just mind boggling... True story...

Permission to laugh, GRANTED
I hope this entertained you profoundly.

Nuff said. Paper time.

xoxo,
Kim

PS- Photos aren't up on Facebook so I can't steal em.. But I will post em up when they go on Facebook :)

Baby Daddy.

Okay, this just got worse... My throat feels like it has been burnt, my legs are sore, and I taste blood... :/
THIS IS BAD.
Ya think, Kim...? -_-
So, as you may (or most probably do not) know,
was on last night. For those of you who are scratching your scalp, trying to dig into the walls of your cerebellum, wondering what I mean... Just briefly, MAMA is basically a music award show, kinda like an AMA's but for East Asia :) (psst! you can click the photo to see who won what if ya likesssss)

Boy, was it one LONG show... I had briefly watched the Red Carpet, but went to bed so I could wake up in time for swim practice... So, we, the fangirls of the different KPOP groups gathered together, with  balloons (thanks to Thao-she-is-awesome-Tu!), and we watched it togetherrr, and it was just AWESOME.

Here was what went down:
At the beginning, we were SUPER excited, shouting and jumping in joy, waiting for it to begin...
We'd comment on outfits and stuff and talk about how pretty some of these girls were. Then, we'd cheer for the groups who won. When there was lots of touching on stage, we'd exclaim. During performances by Super Junior, SHINEE, SISTAR, EXO, we all stood up, danced, and watched the performance...

But you see, we had thought this was only 2 hours long... By the middle of the show, we were all so tired, slumped on the couch... We were seriously anticipating only one performance.

BIG BANG's

When it actually played, ALL of us went crazy. As if in a trance, we were glued to the TV, but we also danced, danced, danced, da-danced (teehee, ya gets it?). In that process, we also screamed, did jumping jacks (apparently thats what I was doing...), sing(more like shout)-along-ing. Funnily enough, I HAD NO IDEA of what Big Bang did throughout... I was so focused on the dancing and singing, I didn't even notice the details of the performance... So I rewatched it when I got back...
